Facilities and installations for the production of explosives
WIR Sp. z o.o. (formerly WiR Engineering Ltd.) has been designing facilities and installations for the production of explosives since 1998. We have completed numerous projects for companies such as: Explominex Sp. z o.o., Nitroerg S.A., UEE POLONIA Sp. z o.o., Zakłady Tworzyw Sztucznych NITRON S.A., and Zakłady Tworzyw Sztucznych ERG Bieruń S.A.
The largest number of projects has been carried out for Nitroerg S.A., one of Poland’s leading manufacturers of explosives and initiation systems, which has been our client since 2006. The company operates production facilities in Bieruń and Krupski Młyn.
Our engineering office provides comprehensive designs of facilities and installations covering all stages of production processes for explosives, dynamite, and detonating cords.
Facilities and installations for plastics production not related to explosives
In the field of plastics not associated with explosives, the WiR design office has completed several installation projects throughout Poland.
In 2003, we designed a calendering line installation (a continuous process for forming products from polymer materials) for Ergis S.A. in Wąbrzeźno, a leading manufacturer of industrial packaging, films, and PVC films.
In 2008, we designed a finished product coating installation for Zakłady Chemiczne Police S.A..
